On a recent journey home from work a song came on the radio that I had not heard for a while, Waterfalls by TLC. The title of the song got me thinking – would it be possible to put together an Agile Delivery Playlist that would take me from a Waterfall to an Agile delivery and the stages in between? Here is my attempt (with a little help from my wife – note the two Back Street Boys entries).
- TLC – Waterfalls
- Kenny Logins – Dangerzone
- Back Street Boys – Incomplete
- Bee Gees – Tragedy
- The Beatles – Help
- Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’
- Ed Sheehan – Thinking Out Loud
- Adele – All I Ask
- Oasis – D’you Know What I Mean?
- Back Street Boys – I Want it That Way
- Plan B – Writing’s On The Wall
- Bryan Adam – Everything I Do I Do It For You
- Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough
- Queen – Don’t Stop Me Now
- Adam and the Ants – Stand and Deliver
- Europe – The Final Countdown
- Agnes – Release Me
- Pharrell Williams – Happy
What songs would you include on an Agile playlist?
You have to include, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” by the Stones since that’s a message we often have to share with stakeholders. 🙂
Great list, Robin. Here are some others from teams I worked with who were using a sprint theme song. https://www.mountaingoatsoftware.com/blog/number-name-date-stamp-or-sing-your-sprints
