Overview

The role of the Scrum Master is crucial to the successful implementation of the Scrum Framework. The Scrum Guide states the following:-

The Scrum Master is accountable for establishing Scrum as defined in the Scrum Guide. They do this by helping everyone understand Scrum theory and practice, both within the Scrum Team and the organisation.

The Scrum Master is accountable for the Scrum Team’s effectiveness. They do this by enabling the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.

The Scrum Guide (2020)

This immersive 2-day course utilises a combination of theory and interactive exercises in order to provide an understanding of Scrum and the role of the Scrum Master.

Although the primary focus of this training course is the role of the Scrum Master within the Scrum framework, this training course may be of benefit to any individuals within an organisation who are accountable for getting the most out of Scrum. This includes, Scrum Masters, Scrum Team Members, Project Managers, Line Managers, Organisational Leaders.

Coure Pre-Requisites

Although being familiar with Agile values/principles and Scrum may be beneficial, these are not essential.
